ELIGIBILITY
Membership is open to any graduate with a AA or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Undergraduates enrolled in such an institution of higher education may become student affiliates.

Membership is not by invitation. In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There are no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, or disability.

Though the branch year is July 1 through June30  prospective members may join at any time  the year.


ANNUAL DUES
Annual dues for branch members are $75. This figure includes $12 for branch dues, $16 for state dues, and $47 for national association dues. Lifetime membership in the national association is available for $860. 

You may inquire about becoming a member by contacting Audrey Giuffrida , the Membership Co-VPs. Branch student affiliate dues, for students currently pursuing a bachelor or AA degree, are $40, which includes branch, state, and national association dues. Student affiliates are entitled to attend branch, AAUW-CA, and Association meeting, but not vote or hold office.
